Rogue: Adam's Nemesis Scrambler
// By Sol Invictus
For some the perfect cocktail would consist of beer... two beers in fact. The Black & Tan is a beer cocktail that uses lager (tan) and stout (black) to create what some say is "perfection", and that is what we think of this current build for Adam, the perfect black and tan motorcycle called Rogue.
Adam's main focus on this build was to minimalise the tail section of the motorcycle. This required cutting the loop and welding it back onto the shortened subframe. With the tail snipped we also needed to accommodate the numberplate so we fabricated a swingarm mounted plate holder and also installed the discrete 3-in-1 LED tailights / indicators.
The other main part of the "Black & Tan" was the seat. Once the subframe was finished the handmade seat pan could be sent off for upholstery. Adam specified the shape and stitching design and wanted a particular word etched on the tan leather upholstery.
The only other non OEM part was the muffler, Adam went for the Purpose Built Moto reverse cone muffler fitted to the original 2-into-1 scrambler header.
With only a few small changes to this stock Nemesis scrambler, a nip here, a tuck there and some tasty additions, it was transformed into the perfect black & tan scrambler.
